Acne is a chronic skin disease causing pimples, spots on the skin. This occurs when oil and dead skin cells build up on the skin. The face is the most affected part and it can exhibit whiteheads, blackheads, pimples, etc. Acne affects people of any age but most commonly teenagers.

Acne and pimples on face are triggered by stress for sure as hormone production is affected in the case of psychological changes. But stress alone cannot be the reason for acne.

It is advised not to pop your pimples. Out of irritation, it is a natural tendency to do so but by doing so, inflammation under your skin can occur. Also, there are chances that it can trigger the growth of another pimple.
